Linville Falls Winery is afamily owned and operated vineyard, winery, and farm in the North Carolina Blue Ridge Mountains. With "old man" Jack Wiseman at the helm and the grandkids following close behind in his passion for cultivating grapes and winemaking, they are pioneering wine in the Appalachian High Country.

The 40 acre vineyard and farm is situated just north of the Blue Ridge Parkway and Linville Gorge in a fertile valley between hills filled with rows of lush, green vines. Grape varieties include Seyval Blanc, Vidal Blanc, Noiret, Marquette, Petit Verdot, Marechal Foch, and their flagship grape, Riesling. But throughout the farm you'll also find blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, heirloom apples, pumpkins, corn, and of course, Christmas Trees. At an elevation of 3,200-3,400 feet, the grapevines thrive in the mountain climate. Cool nights and low humidity allow the grapes to ripen slow while developing fresh, vibrant flavors, giving way to wonderful wines. Linville Falls Winery is part of the Appalachian High Country AVA, which is a unique growing area that defines a specific climate and stretches 2,400 square miles across eight counties and 3 states.

Linville Falls winery invites you to come face to face with nature, to see the vines, walk among them, and drink their fruits. Come see for yourself the beauty of the High Country, meet the family, and taste what the mountains have to offer.
